AGPL-3.0 Guide
Using FermTrack commercially is allowed.
You can sell hosting, setup, integration, customization, support, and training around FermTrack. The AGPL-3.0 license permits commercial use.
If users access a modified version of FermTrack over a network, AGPL requires you to offer those users the complete corresponding source code of the version they are using.
Two simple options
Same model many open-source companies use: free if you run it yourself, paid if you want us to host it.
Option 1: Self-Host (Free)
$0 / month
You run FermTrack on your own infrastructure
- Free under AGPL-3.0
- Keep license and copyright notices intact
- Do not remove attribution or present FermTrack as your original project
- If you run modified versions over a network, provide source to users
Option 2: We Host It For You
From $20 / month
We host and operate FermTrack for your team
- Starter example: $20/month for up to 14 users
- Automatic updates, backups, and monitoring
- Support and migration help available
- Higher tiers available for multi-site and enterprise needs
